The solar industry is often fragmented, so why not build a sales organization centered on transparency? After 12 years in the industry, I’ve experienced enough to know what truly creates a win-win-win for the homeowner, representative, and the sales organization.
My partnership with Freedom Forever has shown me that the foundation of success lies in always putting the homeowner first. How do we do that? By partnering with individuals who prioritize integrity—no exceptions. By making decisions that balance our margins and values. And most importantly, by living out what we preach.
Salespeople are gifted communicators, driven by a passion for helping others get what they need, not what they want. We’re not aiming to be the biggest sales organization in America. Instead, we focus on the why behind what we do. Our goal is simple: keep operating margins low, so we can offer the lowest quote every time.
And above all, we commit to removing greed from the equation. Greed is why so many companies fail. By staying true to this principle, we hire real people—not just salespeople. Our approach is straightforward, with no lies or manipulative tactics. We let the numbers speak for themselves and focus on educating homeowners about solar while building meaningful relationships.
Why I Rebranded to PurLight Solar
People often ask me, “Why did you rebrand your company to PurLight Solar?”
Back in 2017, I launched SoleilEnergy Inc. I had just spent time learning from some of the top solar companies in the nation and was ready to build something different. The name Soleil—French for “sun”—was a nod to my favorite country at the time. I chose it because it sounded unique, even a bit difficult to pronounce—my hope was that people would have to say it a few times and it would stick in their minds.
But truthfully, the name didn’t carry deep meaning.
Fast forward eight years, and a lot has changed—especially in me. SoleilEnergy Inc. found success across the country, thanks in large part to my loyal partnership with Titan Solar Power. But when they made the difficult decision to cease operations, everything I had built was suddenly shaken. Without a clear and lasting why, I lost the will to push forward. I stepped away, discouraged and carrying the weight of significant financial loss.
But during that time away, I realized something powerful: I was always in the right position—just not rooted in the right purpose.
Then came Freedom Forever. Their mission stirred something in me—a passion not just to build another solar company, but to build one anchored in conviction and eternal significance.
That’s when 1 John 1:7 came to mind:
“But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.”
In that moment, PurLight Solar was born. A name with purpose. A brand founded on integrity, truth, and light.
At PurLight, we don’t just sell solar—we serve families. We commit to doing what’s right, because it’s right. We operate with lower margins to give homeowners and business owners the absolute best solar solution on the market. And to ensure that integrity remains at the core, I personally audit every single project we install.
This is more than business. It’s about stewardship. It’s about shining light where there has been too much darkness—whether in people’s finances, energy bills, or their trust in this industry.
Welcome to PurLight Solar.
Rooted in purpose. Fueled by faith. Focused on serving you with excellence.
